Japanese whiskies masterclass - £45 per person

Anzu is a Japanese dining room and bar in the newly opened St. James’s Market quarter, just behind Piccadilly. 

Serving from noon, Anzu offer an a la carte brasserie-style menu for lunch and dinner and a comprehensive bar menu throughout the afternoon. 

Cocktails, Japanese whiskies and a list that combines wine and sake by the glass, flask or bottle have been carefully chosen to complement Kensuke Yamada’s menus.

Five Japanese whiskies matched to dishes from Anzu’s menu. David Wrigley, Anzu and Tonkotsu’s Head of Drinks and all-round whisky wizard will talk you through (briefly!) how whisky is made, the history of Japanese whisky and each whisky and food pairing.
